Download Organ Prelude "Introduction: Lobe den Herren-Kyrie"

"Introduction" is a sacred prelude for organ, based on the hymn tune "Lobe den Herren" ("Praise to the Lord" in English) and a Gregorian chant ("Kyrie"). It is rather slow and reflective, and probably would work quite nicely as prelude music in most churches that use the organ in their services. The prelude runs about 1 minute 30 seconds. It is a complete section of a larger work entitled "Introduction and Prelude".

More about Downloading Postscript Documents

To download the postscript file, you will need about 300K of disk space; to print it you will need a postscript printer or one of the many postcript emulators that are around (there is even a free one for PCs and unix systems, GhostScript , available on the net--it works pretty well, but unless you have five or ten meg of disk space free, and are a techno-nerd or have a good friend who is, you'll probably have a hard time getting it to work right).

Once you have the file downloaded, you'll need to run a special program to send it to the printer. Such a program should have come with your printer; it's probably somewhere in that dusty pile of disks you chucked into the back corner of the closet when you finally got your printer to print something legible.

Distributing music files as postcript is my latest experiment--but I'm not quite sure it's really working right yet. I would appreciate feedback from any of you who try it, whether it worked wonderfully or failed miserably. If it failed miserably, please try to give me some of idea of what went wrong, and I'll try to fix things up so they work right.
